At-Home Nosebleed Assessment

Initial at-home assessment for recurring nosebleeds or bleeding that won't stop with pressure.

Nosebleeds usually stop on their own, but recurring or prolonged bleeding may require assessment. During the at-home examination, the source and severity of the bleeding are examined.

For bleeding that doesn't stop with pressure, an at-home ENT assessment offers an initial evaluation before going to a hospital.

Who this is suitable for

  • Nosebleeds that partially stop with pressure but recur
  • Moderate bleeding following dry air or minor trauma
  • Nasal congestion or discomfort after a nosebleed

When this isn't suitable

  • Heavy bleeding that doesn't stop after 20 minutes of pressure
  • Uncontrolled bleeding in patients taking blood thinners
  • Bleeding accompanied by altered consciousness after trauma
  • Weakness, palpitations or feeling faint from significant blood loss

How the process works

  1. Share your complaint

Send your complaint and the address for the visit by phone or WhatsApp.

  2. Your visit is scheduled

Once availability is confirmed, your home visit is scheduled directly — no pre-assessment or waiting process.

  3. Examination at home

When needed, an assessment is carried out in your environment using a portable endoscopic imaging system.

Frequently asked questions

How is a nosebleed assessed at home?
The source of the bleeding is examined with endoscopic imaging; suitable intervention is performed if needed, or a hospital referral is recommended.
Is an at-home exam enough for recurring nosebleeds?
It's sufficient for an initial assessment; if the underlying cause requires further testing, hospital-based evaluation is recommended.
